My name is Garrett Norman, associate planner, and I'm here to present the 2021 Title 17 omnibus ordinance are often referred to as the bundle.

Staff first presented this ordinance to Lawn Ledge on April 20th.

This committee passed a motion requesting staff bring this item back to lawn ledge in one month with instructions to conduct stakeholder meetings with the Power and Alliance, the Sacramento Valley Manufacturing Association, in addition to a couple community garden advocates in order to receive feedback on the proposed amendment to require a conditional use permit or CUP in the industrial zones for community and market gardens.

The Sack Valley Manufacturing Association expressed an overall concern to the decrease in industrial properties within the city limits and the implications it causes for existing businesses seeking to expand.

They felt the proposed amendment could help preserve more industrial properties.
