I'm the planning director, and um, I will get this uh presentation loaded up.

Um so today I am sharing with you the 2022 planning and zoning work program.

Um I'll be going over the key uh highlights of the program and after discussion, we're recommending that you forward approval to the um our recommendation of approval to the city council.

Um in terms of the structure of the presentation, just give a quick background on on how we develop this work program.

Talk about some of our accomplishments in the last calendar year, um, go over the key work program highlights for next year.

Um, and then also as a report back from our um meeting in last December, last year when we presented the work program, the committee had asked that we return with uh an evaluation of how we engage the public in our planning processes.

Um in terms of how the work program is developed in September.

Um we presented the draft work program to the planning and design commission to get their comments and questions.

Then we were turned in November, um requesting that they forward the work program on to council, which they did on November 29th.

Um we're here at Law and Ledge now in December, and we hope to be before council in January.
