Discussion Items

  • Deer Creek Plaza PUD Amendment (Staff Report): The applicant sought to amend the PUD guidelines and schematic plan to allow multi-unit dwellings on two vacant parcels at the northwest corner of Franklin Boulevard and Mack Road. The site is zoned shopping center, which allows multi-unit dwellings by right; however, a schematic plan amendment is required because the current plan designates the site for commercial uses. Staff supported the project for consistency with city housing goals and infill policies. No public testimony. The commission voted unanimously to approve staff's recommendation.

Key Outcomes

  • The consent calendar was approved.
  • The Deer Creek Plaza PUD amendment was approved.
  • The June 25th regular meeting was canceled; the next meeting is scheduled for August 13th.
