Interviews were held for seats D E, D E and F for this board at the March 14th meeting at the request of community development staff.

The clerk's office held over seat G.

And the PMPE committee requested that all seats be considered at one time.

Now we will hear interviews for C with consideration of nominations to all seats D, E, F, and G.

The recommendation is to conduct interviews to the non-advisory board hearing examiners.

And there are seven candidates for four vacancies.

So when the candidates come up, you'll have two minutes to do your interview.

In terms of my knowledge and experience, I have over 10 years of public service experience.

That includes city, county, and state experience.

I've worked for the City of Aleo Public Works Department, and I chaired the Youth Activities Commission there where I worked with youth and uh on various public works matters that I'm sure you're very familiar with.

I also worked for the county for the criminal courts division, where I helped judges and the public with various criminal matters.

And I also have worked for the state.

And I believe that those skills make me a diverse candidate.

So I'm well aware of how to apply the law, how to work with people, and gain consensus.

And I would very much appreciate your I vote.

I have an undergraduate degree in math from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, uh JD from Boston University.

I only practice law for a couple of years as I quickly learned that I like law school better than the practice of law.

So my career has been in the legal publishing field.

I'm currently a freelance writer, editor, and indexer in legal publishing, and I work for the two biggest legal publishers in the country, uh, West Publishing and Lexus Legal Publishing.

Uh I'm very logical and analytical.

I believe I tend to look at problems objectively and fairly.

I'm a former teacher and uh school administrator.

I worked for Sacramento City Unified School District, and since 2006 for the California Department of Education.

And I have recently retired.

I'm interested in this position because I firmly believe that for our common quality of life in the city of Sacramento, it requires both fairness and the consistent application of the regulations that we as a community have adopted to protect health and safety.

In my role with the California Department of Education, I was a monitor.

I assessed how school districts were using federal and state tax dollars.

And for the last portion of that time, I was a team leader.
