Uh, as far as why I'd like to serve in the position, I really can't see a time that working with CADA and the work that CADA does has ever been more urgent for our city.

I see such an incredible commitment from CADA's leadership to creating a diverse housing stock for those workers that desperately need a place in our central city.

I feel really committed to CADA's goal to reduce uh greenhouse gas impacts and traffic impacts as well by making our central city more livable, more dense.

That's very much in alignment with the work that I have done over my career over the past 20 years.

So, in regards to the qualifications as far as serving on the board, um, I have been working in public space management for the last 20 years, working for property business improvement districts and historic districts, providing services to reduce homelessness.

And again, I really see the pipeline to providing housing affordability and maintaining a housing stock as one of the clear ways to achieve that goal.

I also continue that work in the central city on a daily basis and have strong relationships with the folks at our capital, the folks at City Hall, many of you I have the opportunity to work with.

Um, and also with our police department, all of those being really critical relationships that I feel I can bring to the table and continue to advance CADA's mission, as well as being involved in the development community and really knowing intimately the challenges with what it takes to build housing stock of all types, especially those that are very affordable, um, and have had the pleasure of seeing many of you, uh Steve Hansen in particular, and Wendy Cata's executive director working um hand in glove to ensure that those important projects are coming forward.
