Sacramento Preservation Commission Meeting - July 25, 2018
The Sacramento Preservation Commission met on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, starting at 5:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chamber. The July twenty fifth, twenty eighteen meeting of the City of Sacramento's Preservation Commission is called to order. Before we start, I'll review our procedures. Copies of the agenda for tonight's meeting are in the kiosk just outside the door. The commission will refer to each of the items according to the order provided on the agenda, and there are no changes to the agenda. Each item will begin with a presentation by staff. Speaker forms are on the table at the back of the room. And if you'd like to speak, please fill out the form. Note the agenda item number on which you'd like to speak and bring it up to the clerk to the left of the dais. So if that's your preference, note that on your speaker slip. So at this time, I ask that you turn off all cell phones and paging devices or make them silent. And we do have a draft in our packet. Are there any questions or comments on the minutes of the meeting? Commissioner White Lamb. My mic is on the case. We don't need to do anything. I still do it. Okay. But when commission when commissioners make a request, I think that should be that's substantive. I think that it should be listed on the uh under the members thing, just so that we have a trail of how things came to be. And at the last meeting, um, I know that I asked under that one that we have a report back from Parks Department on the historic cemetery, which we're doing. Um and then John also had requested for a report back on um on the um commission's recommendations about changes to the planning and development code. And I'm forgetting the section, but if you listen to the 17808180. Right. So um if you know if that doesn't violate some rule of the cities, I would appreciate having it there. Uh that I'm not saying we're gonna do anything big and long, but if there's like a request of something agendized or something like that, that it could be on the minutes. Thank you.
