I'm with the American Legion Post 637 in Citrus Heights, and uh I'm here to invite the board and all members that are here to attend our uh annual battle of the bands and barbecue.

It is a fundraising event for veterans who help veterans in our community.

Um as of today, one of our veterans is attending the Placer County Court for the Veteran Court.

But it is an annual event that we raise money for to help veterans to help veterans.

Uh it is this two weeks from now, September 14th.

It is a like I said, the battle of the bands and barbecue.

We have three bands, six barbecue companies, and all you can eat and all you can drink for the day.

We raise these funds to help veterans, whether they're in the court system or out of the court system, uh, so they can get the best benefits.
