On-farm connection assemblies phase 1 design is near completion, awaiting grower agreements, with advertisement planned for early 2025. An additional $3 million in state grant funding was secured.

Phase 1 and 2 of the supplemental harvest removed and disposed of over 12,000 dry tons of biosolids in May 2024. Phase 3 and 4 will be procured through a two-year contract (with options to extend) targeting 14,000 dry tons per year, with an annual cost of $13.5 million (a 10% increase in the treatment and recovery operations budget, already included in the fiscal year budget and long-term financial plans). No board action was required; the district engineer has delegated authority. Long-term biosolids disposal solutions will be reported in summer 2025.
