Yes, item number two is a resolution approving a management agreement with the nonprofit owners association for administration and management of the established property-based community benefit district known as Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District pursuant pursuant to California streets and Highways Code Section 36651 for a period commencing upon board approval through December 31st, 2040. Thank you. And today we're joined by the CBD Program Director at OEWD, Ms. Jackie Hazelwood. Ms. Hazelwood, please go ahead. Thank you. Good morning, Chair Fielder, Supervisor Cheryl, and Supervisor Souter. I'm Jackie Hazelwood. I'm the Community Benefit District Program Director with OEWD. So today before you is a resolution authorizing the management contract for the renewed Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District, which does business as the Ocean Avenue Association. In July 2025, with support from both Supervisors Melgar and Chen, the Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution to renew and expand this district in Jolet with a 15-year term to expire December 31, 2040. In this new term, the district will continue to be managed by the Owners Association, known as the Ocean Avenue Association, and is led by the Executive Director Christian Martin. The district provides day-to-day operations and carries out the services as provided for in the district's management plan. This renewal includes the addition of the Lakeside Village commercial area, which runs along Ocean Avenue between 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra. The expansion to this corridor was shaped in close partnership with the Friends of Lakeside Village, led by Kath Sakalakis, who recently stepped into the role of board chair of the Ocean Avenue Association. While Kath was unable to be here today, I want to acknowledge her and her efforts to strengthen the connection between these commercial corridors. In this new term, the district will continue to be managed by the Ocean Avenue Association. And since the organization's initial establishment in 2010, the Ocean Avenue Association has continued to serve as the district's managing organization, supporting operations and service delivery across the corridor. the item today the item before you today enables this work to continue by authorizing the city to enter into a management contract with the district which is required in order to in order for assessment funded services to continue and in order for the city controller to disperse assessment funds
