Yes, item number one is a hearing regarding financial commitments made by private developers for housing developments at 2000 through 2070 Bryan Street and 681 Florida Street in the Mission District, including $500,000 in capital funding for tenant improvements to the community arts space at 681 Florida Street and requesting Nick Podell, GRE Partners, Mission Economic Development Agency, Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Center, the Mayor's Office of Housing, and Community Development and the City's Attorney's Office to report. Thank you. So on October 21st of last year, I introduced a hearing request regarding the 2000 to 2070 Bryant Street and 681 Florida Street properties in District 9. Specifically, the hearing calls for the private developers of this property to appear before this committee regarding a $500,000 financial commitment made for tenant improvements to the community art space at 681 Florida Street, the neighboring affordable housing development that was dedicated to the city. This hearing will be held at the next Government Audit and Oversight Committee on Thursday, February 19th. I have sent written and electronic notices to the private developers in this case, requesting that they confirm their appearance. As of today, none of the developers have responded to my inquiries. These are the names of the private developers whose presence is requested. Mr. Nick Podell of the Nick Podell Company, based out of San Francisco, and Mr. John Cooper, and Mr. Kevin Straub of JRE Partners, based out of New York City. As Mr. Podell has not responded to my inquiries, I will be directing the clerk to prepare an issue, a subpoena to Mr. Podell, to appear at the February 19th meeting of this committee. and despite the lack of responses for Mr. Cooper and Mr. Straub, the committee will not be issuing a subpoena to them as they are outside of the board's jurisdiction.
