Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Thursday, July tenth, twenty twenty five regular meeting of the public safety and neighborhood services committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. I'm Supervisor Matt Dorsey, Chair of this committee, and I'm joined today by Vice Chair of Lal Mockman and Supervisor Danny Sauter. I think we have a relatively brief meeting today, but I would like to just start out by saying that we are grateful as always to Ms. Monique Creighton, who is serving very capably as our clerk today. Together we'd like to also express our thanks to James Kawana and the entire team at SFGov TV for s facilitating and broadcasting today's meeting. Madam Clerk, do you have any announcements? Yes. Public comment will be taken on each item on this agenda when your item of interest comes up and public comment is called. Please line up to speak on your right. Yes, item number one is a hearing to consider that the person to person, premise to premise, transfer of a type 21 off sale, general beer, wine, and distilled spirits liquor license to Barbary Coast Merchants L L C doing business as Amador liquors and wines, located at five fifty Montgomery Street, will serve the public convenience or necessity of the city and county of San Francisco. Thank you, Madam Clerk, and I would now like to welcome Officer Natalie Via Torro Crane from the San Francisco Police Department's ABC liaison unit. Uh thank you for being here today, officer. The floor is yours. Hi, good morning everyone. Um it seems as though I actually do not have the right um the right report with me today. Um, so I do not have all the notes with me. Um, but I can confirm that there are actually zero letters of protest for this item and that there are zero letters of support. Um, and uh the ALU recommendation is approval with the following um conditions. One of them being uh petitioners shall actively monitor the area under their control in an effort to prevent the loitering of persons on any property adjacent to the licensed premises as depicted on the ABC-257. Okay. Uh thank you, Officer Via Toro Crane. Can I just ask the city attorney, is there anything that needs to be read into the record or is that adequate as a. Um the presentation, Deputy City Attorney Brad Russian. The presentation sounded pretty similar to what the department you'll normally say in these situations, so I think it's fine. Okay, great. Um thank you. Uh Officer, I see no issue with the liquor license transfer, and I know the business is located in the financial district, which is represented by Supervisor Sauter. Supervisor Sauter, I'd invite you to say. Yes, thank you, Chair Dorsey. Um I will be supporting this. This is a set in the financial district. Just steps from uh all of the uh improvements that have been happening around Jackson Square and Trans-American Pyramid. So I think it'll contribute to our downtown recovery. Uh and and uh as the officer shared, I understand there's no letters of opposition, uh no opposition from Central Station. Um so given that uh I would uh like to make a motion and I will move.
