The Sheridan City Council met in regular session at 5:30 PM on February 2, 2026. The meeting included a community update from CHAPS Equine Assisted Services, the second reading of a PUD amendment, final acceptance of public infrastructure, a resolution authorizing a grant application for a new fire engine, and council comments and committee reports. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) was originally scheduled to present but canceled due to a scheduling mix-up.
Second regular council meeting at 5 30. Yeah, on our agenda we had NAMI presenting tonight, but NAMI got their dates mixed up and they will not present tonight, they will present at a later date. But that being said, could we have the roll call, please? Oh, yeah, wait. We have somebody for the invocations, too. That's good. Okay. Let us take a quiet moment to pause in prayer. We are grateful for this community we call home and for the opportunity to serve it. May we remember that behind every agenda item are people, families, and neighborhoods who care deeply about Sheridan. As we begin tonight's work, may we be guided by kindness, patience, and mutual respect. May we listen openly, speak honestly, and work collaboratively for the good of all. Let our decisions reflect not only good judgment, but also compassion and a shared commitment to the future of our city. May we carry that spirit with us throughout this meeting and beyond. Amen. Thank you very much. Now can we have roll calling members in the show? Yes, you may. Councilmember Lumen. Here. Councilmember Brands. Present. Councilmember Wood. Councilmember Linkham. Present. Council Member Whitesell. Present. Councilmember Patzig. Here. Mayor Bridger. Present. Do I have a motion for the approval of the agenda? So move. I have a motion. Do I have a second? I have a motion and a second in the discussion. For reasons of clarification, I was hoping to move final acceptance of public infrastructure for Gillespie draw subdivision from consent to new business. That's fine. It's pretty straightforward and simple, but we'll move it forward. Thank you, business. With that being moved to new business, do I have a motion? Or all those in favor signify by saying aye. Aye. Opposed. Motion passes. We now move on to community updates. Our community update tonight is presented by CHAPTERS ECON Assistant Services, and with us is Kristen Marcus and Executive Director. Welcome, Kristen. Council members mayor, thank you very much for having us here. I'm pretty excited to report on this.
