Total contract amount is $882,588, with Sparks' share at $276,867.86. The project addresses a mechanical failure that compromised heating capacity. - 9.4 TMWRF Mobile Organic Biofilm Technology: Approved a contract (AC 6136) with the City of Reno and Nuvoda LLC for licensing and equipment for mobile organic biofilm technology. Total amount is $778,000, with Sparks' share at $244,058.60. The technology was successfully piloted over 18 months and will treat 20-25% of the plant's flow.
- 10.1 MOU with Police Supervisors (SPSPA): Approved a memorandum of understanding (AC 6137) between the City and the Sparks Police Supervisory Protective Association (lieutenants). The MOU corrects education incentive pay by incorporating the 8% bachelor's degree pay into base salary and reducing the master's degree premium from 10% to 2%.
