I pray that we're able to get the uh various members of the city raises work to help us during this meeting. You're gonna be approved. Amen. All right, uh let's see here. Roger lead us in the pledge, please. Mayor, I legislated of the United States of America and the Republic for which it stands. One nation under individual justice for all. All right, we'll call this meeting of St. Alpha City Council to order for Monday, June 15, 2026. Uh praise and recognition. Um I'm gonna start off with uh the baseball team. St. Alvin's high school won their third state baseball championship in the last eight years, seven nine years. Uh I know uh Andy and Dave and myself and Jared uh who Chad Campbell or he had something he better be there. But uh we were all down there. It was a great crowd for St. Albans, a great crowd for Ripley, but uh St. Albans just dominated and uh we'll we'll get him to council to recognize them eventually. I know July 6th, we're gonna recognize the uh girls lacrosse team. So uh we'll get the baseball team down there to recognize them. Uh any other praise or recognition. I do want to say something in honor of our city recorder, Veronica Westfall, the Carolina Hurricanes finally won the Stanley Cup. 20 is any other praise and recognition. Are you married? Yes, sir. I think last week when we passed the uh MUC bills, you know, that was a very tough decision, but I know personally I think it had to be done, and I think everyone that did uh well everyone that was here did vote for it. Yes and I think that was a very important vote. It was it was big, I mean here in the catch-22 situation, but thank you, Brian. I appreciate that, and I appreciate the way the public hearing went. Everything was civil. People did express concerns, had questions, but everybody was civil, and that's what's important. Any other praise and recognition?
