I don't know if we get her a different microphone.

1:59

Thank you.

2:00

Good morning and thank you.

2:03

Could I please have the clerk to read the summary?

2:24

The BO directs the direct dev streets to install speed humps pursuant to ordinance number 7033 as amended by ordinance number 71394 to calm the floor traffic of the traffic on the 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, and 4600 of corridor.

2:45

Okay.

2:46

So Carter is one of those wide streets that lends itself to reckless and imprudent driving.

2:56

And so based on uh the outcry of the community, um, they would like to have speed humps installed to calm the flow of traffic.

3:09

Excellent.

3:09

With that, uh, we'll go through committee to see if anyone has any questions.

3:12

We'll start with Alder Woman Boyd.

3:15

No questions.

3:16

Thank you for coming.

3:18

Thank you.

3:19

Uh Alder Woman Cork Hubbard.

3:22

Alder Woman Schweitzer.

3:24

No questions.

3:25

Alder Woman Cox Antwick.

3:28

No questions.

3:29

I also have no questions.

3:31

I hope this brings peace to your residents and uh slows some traffic down.

3:36

Uh with that, Madam Clerk.

3:37

Do we have any public testimony?

3:39

We have none.

3:40

Okay, Alderwoman, you are recognized to close.

3:43

Well, thank you.

3:43

Uh once again.

3:44

I think that this will go a long way uh in helping our residents to feel more comfortable and more safe if we can get the traffic slowed down just a bit.

3:56

So with that, I ask for your favorable consideration and do pass recommendation.

4:01

Excellent.

4:02

Uh with that, I will accept a motion for a due pass recommendation for board bill number 53.

4:08

4:28

So I will hand the chairmanship over to chair and we'll proceed.

4:34

Thank you.

4:41

Chair Browning, you are recognized on board bill number sixty seven.

4:50

Thank you.

4:51

Uh Board Bill 67 is a board bill that uh seeks to install speed humps on West Pine.

5:00

Uh this is a street that people approached me and asked me if we could get some speed humps on the street.

5:06

It's a very wide street uh and experiences a lot of speeding, and so uh I use a petition in the ward that I circulate uh or I have the resident go out and collect signatures.

5:18

It's a good way for neighbors to get to know each other and also share their desire for a speed hump.

5:23

So uh they collected the required amount of signatures, returned it to me, and now uh we're seeking to install these speed humps.

5:33

Thank you, Alderman.

5:34

Uh any public comment on this bill?

5:36

We have none.

5:37

Okay.

5:38

Uh moving through members of the committee for question by order of seniority.

5:42

Alderman.

5:43

Is that correct?

5:44

No questions.

5:45

Thank you.

5:46

Alderman Clark Hubbard.

5:50

Alderman Cox Antwee.

5:53

Thank you.

5:54

No questions.

5:55

I also have no questions.

5:56

Thank you, Alderman, for bringing this in front of us.

5:59

You are recognized to close.

6:01

That's the bill.

6:02

Uh, any objection.

6:34

Hearing no objection, we have passed board bill 67 with a due pass recommendation.

6:39

Thank you, Alderman.

6:40

Uh Chairman Browning.

6:42

And take the floor back.

6:47

Thank you, Alderwoman Schweitzer.

6:49

Uh, with that, uh, that is the extent of the board bills for review.

6:53

Uh, Madam Cork, do we have any resolutions for review?

6:56

We have none.

6:57

We also have no committee discussions.

7:00

Uh moving right along.

7:01

Any written testimony?

7:03

We have none.

7:05

Uh any announcements from any of our members.

7:10

Seeing none, uh, we will move on.

7:12

I'd like to excuse uh Alderman uh from the fifth for necessary absence.

7:19
