1:16

Ms.

1:17

Cynthia Krim.

1:19

Miss Audder Woman Sonier has presented Miss Krim to our committee.

1:24

So Auderwoman Sonye, would you like to speak?

1:28

Thank you, Madam Chair, members of the committee.

1:37

This is a reappointment.

1:38

So she has been in service for quite some time.

1:41

Her resume is in our drive, but I'll give you all just a quick summary.

1:45

She has a master's of public administration from Clark Atlanta University.

1:50

She has a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Southern University from Baton Rouge, where my father is from.

1:56

She has a strong background with Commerce Bank in their community relations division.

2:01

She's got a lot of experience with grant writing.

2:04

Just really well rounded leadership experience, very strong on the administrative side.

2:09

And of course, for this board is an actual senior who's just really looking to continue her service to our city.

2:15

And so I really look forward to supporting her nomination today and I'm asking for this committee's consideration of that.

2:23

Thank you all so much.

2:25

So on that note, uh Miss Krim, would you like to say something?

2:31

Oh, good morning, everyone.

2:33

Um, I'm happy to be here.

2:36

Uh I have been serving on the senior fund board since the inception.

2:41

Uh it has been an honor and a privilege um to serve on the board.

2:48

Um, we have been doing great work for the seniors here in the city of St.

2:52

Louis.

2:53

Um, and would like to continue to work uh on the board.

2:58

I am currently the vice chair.

3:01

I also serve as the um uh on the committee for the grants and uh programs and so really have just enjoyed um the work there.

3:12

It fits perfectly with what I do in my day job um here at Commerce Bank.

3:18

I work in the charitable contributions area.

3:20

I am the senior program manager for the Norman J.

3:24

Stubb Foundation.

3:25

It's a foundation that has about 25 million in asset, and we distribute about a million in grants um throughout the city uh and the county and also in Metro East.

3:39

Um, so the work that uh I'm doing with the senior fund fits with my background as a nonprofit administrator, as a grantmaker uh, and so really have enjoyed uh working with staff, thinking strategically about how to develop and improve the services for our seniors.

3:59

I'm a senior uh and I uh really feel strongly about making sure that St.

4:06

Louis is a great city for people to grow old and even as seniors that you have the resources and the services that you need.

4:17

Thank you so much.

4:19

And so that was uh uh very informative presentation.

4:23

We appreciate that, but uh I think it also shows the importance of seniors uh in position and age on what they can bring to the table.

4:34

So I really appreciate you, Miss Krim, for sticking in with that.

4:39

Yes, ma'am.

4:40

On that note, I'll ask our committee if they have any questions.

4:43

Alderman Olderberg.

4:46

No questions, madam chair.

4:47

I want to thank Ms.

4:48

Krim for uh first serving on the senior fund board and and for wanting to be reappointed as well.

4:54

Appreciate your efforts and look forward to your reappointment.

4:59

Thank you.

5:01

Alder Woman Sonia.

5:03

No questions.

5:04

I'm just glad that Miss Krim is a proud seventh order, and I look forward to supporting her reappointment today.

5:11

Alder Woman uh Cox Antwe.

5:18

You don't mean any questions you answer them in their presentation.

5:22

Oh can you all hear me now?

5:25

Uh-huh.

5:25

Yes.

5:25

Okay.

5:26

Sorry.

5:26

I was just saying thank you, Miss Krim, for seeking your reappointment.

5:29

You answered uh my questions in your statement.

5:31

It sounds like you have a great background for this role, and I appreciate you wanting to continue to serve.

5:36

No further questions.

5:39

Thank you.

5:40

And on that note, I have no questions just to add to what uh my committee members were saying and to reinforce again the power of someone that has been uh in this field for quite a while and has the knowledge, and it sometimes is good to have new, but you need the old to kind of help them to understand the roadblocks and how you get through them.

6:06

So thank you so much, Miss Krim.

6:08

We appreciate you.

6:09

And on that note, I'll ask for a vote for Ms.

6:13

Krim to be accepted on the senior fund board, senior citizen service fund board.

6:21

Second previous role.

6:25

Who made the motion?

6:28

Fairwoman made the motion.

6:29

I made the motion.

6:30

Okay.

6:33

And then the vice did a second.

6:37

In previous row.

6:38

Okay.

6:39

No objection.

6:41

Okay, congratulations, Ms.

6:43

Krim.

6:44

So you thank you so much.

6:46

Yes, ma'am.

6:47

So you have been nominated unanimously from our committee.

6:51

And so it'll go to the full board for them to vote you back in again.

6:56

So we get ready to do some more work with you.

6:59

All right.

7:00

Well, thank you.

7:01

Looking forward to continuing what we have already started and improving on that.

7:06

And thank you so much.

7:08

You're very welcome.

7:09

You are a nice holiday.

7:11

Oh, you all do the same.

7:12

Thanks again.

7:14

All right.

7:15

And so uh, did we have any written statement in written testimonies?

7:20

We have none.

7:21

Okay.

7:22

And in no announcements.

7:24

Excuse member Alderwoman Tyers.

7:27

I'll ask for an adjournment of the uh meeting.

7:30

So moved.

7:33

Second.

7:37

7:39
