Afternoon and welcome to this city council special meeting on Wednesday July 9th, 5 30 p.m. Let's go ahead and do roll call. Councilmember Blauer. Present. Councilmember Enriquez. Present. Councilmember Ponce is absent. Councilmember Padilla? President. Councilmember Via Padua. Present. Vice Mayor Lee. Present. Hey, Mayor Figazi. Present. We have a quorum. Wonderful. Uh okay. So at this time we will have public comment and just a reminder. Public comment for closed session may only be what close is on the agenda. So labor negotiations or um public employee recruitment, and you will have three minutes, depending on who do we have. Do we have public speakers? Okay, great. Zoila Moreno. Good evening. Can I see that the CDC? Turn it on. Okay, but I speak. Okay, thank you. Okay. Good evening. Uh first of all, citizens of Stockton. And I just happened to read the sign in front of the city holy says serving the people. And as a matter of fact, I can see you know that uh we are doing things differently. Now uh calling meetings on Wednesday. I think that will work for us in Western Ranch. But anyway, I will uh concentrate in the matter of hand. I'm hoping today that each city council that is serving the community will do the right the right thing because we voted for you, and I just want to remind everybody, you know, that when they have come to my street, I have put a word of uh support to you, and that's immediately has gained you a support from my community. The community is following very closely what has been taking place and uh I guess uh in a private private institution, you have six months to prove to pass probation. So we need to come together. Let's start the stop the bickering, you know, and start working together because we will promise a change that we can count on. So hopefully today I will leave disappointed with whatever decision you took in the city in this closed session and six. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Can I can I check into it really quick? Good job.
