The Stockton Planning Commission convened on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 5:30 PM. Commissioners discussed concerns about ADU compliance with state law, objective design standards, and the need for future fine-tuning. The motion to approve the resolution recommending the council adopt the ordinance as amended (excluding Chapter 16.28 and including the 45-foot lot width) passed 6-0.

Um will Vice Chair Musberger lead us in the budget legion, please. One nation under God. Thank you. Okay. Um, we do not have a consent calendar tonight, so it's my understanding we have one public comment. Um, with the blue card. Uh now's the time. You'll be limited to two minutes. And then we're gonna move on to our next item. So please take the stage. Mary Elizabeth. Mary Elizabeth, Stockton uh resident and uh conservation chair of the Delta Sierra group of the Sierra Club. And uh this is not the first time, and I cannot say um for sure how often that this happens, but I want you to be aware that there's correspondence that has been uh submitted and uh not recorded in the draft minutes. And so I just uh contacted the um city clerk about it. I just so happened to have been looking at some minutes for four ten, and so I will be requesting that the city clerk copy me on all correspondence because this has been an ongoing issue here. The other thing that I wanted to bring to your attention, and I give thanks that you're considering uh calls of service and how that uh works. I'd also ask you to consider getting some more information about the crime reporting districts. So some of those districts are very small, others are very large, and uh the districts around may not be uh may be capturing some more of the information depending on the particular crime district. So just getting a number of a crime district is really not sufficient to consider the crime in the area that a potential business or existing business poses to the community. Thank you. Thank you.
