The Tacoma City Council met on August 6, 2024, at 5:00 PM in Council Chambers. The meeting included approval of a consent agenda, public comment on traffic code amendments, adoption of an honorary street name, approval of multiple labor agreements, and passage of an ordinance updating parking and bike lane regulations. A community forum was held at the end of the meeting. Councilmember Rumbaugh was excused.

Please join me in listening to the land acknowledgement and flag salute led by Councilmember Bushnell, followed by a moment of silence. We gratefully honor and acknowledge that we rest on the traditional lands of the Puola people where they make their home and speak the Lashutsi language. Are there any modifications of the agenda this evening? Seeing none, we'll now move on to the consent agenda. Just start. Yep. All right.
