Maxine Mims, who founded the Tacoma campus of Evergreen State College, where she created an innovative model for higher education, ensuring that countless individuals had access to learning opportunities that inspired them to serve their communities, which continues to make meaningful impacts today.

And whereas the Silly S the City celebrates Haley Falk, a business services manager in the environmental services department, who currently chairs the women's lead inspire connect, uh a growing link, a growing employee resource group that helps individuals discover, develop, and share best practices for professional mobility while engaging diverse women throughout the workforce.

And whereas Tacoma will host various events in March to celebrate women's history and recognize the progress and success that women have achieved locally, regionally, and nationally.
