The meeting of the Lucas County Planning Commission and the City of Toledo Planning Commission convened on January 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Staff recommended approval, noting compatibility and consistency with the 2020 Springfield Township Land Use Plan (low to medium residential). - S-2125 (Walden Subdivision, Monclova Township): Preliminary plat at Dutch Road and Fisher Drive. Staff recommended approval subject to 24 conditions. Applicant accepted the conditions. No public testimony. Approved unanimously.
- S-2025 (Walden Subdivision, Waterville Township): Preliminary plat at Dutch Road and Fisher Drive. Staff recommended approval subject to 25 conditions. Applicant accepted the conditions. No public testimony. Approved unanimously.
- Election of Plan Director: The City Commission portion of the meeting was called to order. A search committee recommended Lisa Cottrell as permanent director of the Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commission. After opening the floor for public testimony (none offered), the motion was seconded and approved unanimously. Ms. Cottrell thanked the committee, staff, and community, and stated her commitment to fulfilling promises.
