So this is to actually do all of the remaining third floor windows in the original city hall building here.

And I say remaining because we did one window last year as a test window.

Um because of the age of these windows, the the nature of trying to salvage them.

Um we utilized this company and did one test window last year, see how that was gonna work, see how they were gonna hold up, see what kind of quality we got out of that.

We've been very satisfied.

Uh these windows are over 100 years old.

There's been a lot of painting and patching and sanding and various work done to them over the decades.

And so this work to the best of anyone's ability brings them back to their original uh intent.

That's good.

Tim, what a restoration consist of.

So they they remove the window and they put just the glass or the no sir.

The entire housing.

Uh they clean it entirely, all the housing gets cleaned entirely, all the rotted wood because all of the windows have various rotten places.

All that rotted wood gets replaced.

It gets cut to match the original window.

Um all the panes get reseeded in some cases the panes get replaced, um, and then the entire window gets repainted two coats and then reinstalled.

Um this will remove uh we'll remove half the windows initially, cover them, put those back in place, and then do the other half.

And this will complete the third floor, the top floor.

And they're putting the their building entirely new wooden sashes, is that what you call it?

Yes, sir.

The housing college.

Uh yes, they they rebuild what what's necessary and they they'll mill they'll sand down and restore as much as they can, and then they'll replace as needed on each window.

But using as much of the original glass.

That's correct.

As much of all the original components as possible.

Hey, Tim, before you leave, any update on the electrical part of it, the pickleball that Buddy Powell, we made any progress toward getting all that done.

Um last conversation I had with Alamo Power was on Friday, and they told me that they were waiting for their foreman to schedule that.

Um we do expect that to be either this week or next week for that power to be pulled in.

If that happens, is there going to be flexibility for the pale on wheels and the parking because I believe so.

I mean, from our perspective, from construction's perspective, I mean, we are essentially done at that point.

Um the gates were installed today, but once the power is in place and we put cameras in, what we are, as far as our primaries go, it is complete.

What I'm about to say is true.

Par is the one that determines and gives that permit for that, not the city.

That is correct.

It is Paris' responsibility to maintain and operate the course.

Can you kind of check on that and see if we can be a little flexible with them about the parking?

Because I still think that's a that's an issue because I'm still getting phone calls by thank you.

Approval of Atkins Realis work authorization addendums, cargo and operations overflow apron.

This request is for approval of two addendums to the Atkins Realis work authorization for the cargo and operations apron project.

Atkins Realis is our engineer representative for all airport projects under the current uh master, excuse me, master service agreement.

Addendum number two is a no-cost adjustment, reallocate unused funds from the initial scope of services for bid and design services.

Uh those uh leftover uh funding will be used for phase two uh design pavement and markings and signage.

We expect to advertise the second phase this November once we confirm the last installment of federal funding for 2026.

Addendum number three authorizes construction services for for phase one at 168,826 and 25 cents covering inspection documentation and coordination during construction.

These also include the services provided by Atkins subconsultant TTL, who serves as our on-site project representative and materials testing services.

Uh, this amount is reimbursable amount was included in the September grant award.

So we're gonna use savings from one of the lines.

No, it's the net zero dollars.

Item number seven is resolution authorizing an amendment to the Tuscan Metro Animal Shelter Operating Agreement.

All right, this is increase the maintenance fund from 30,000 to 80,000.

It's in the budget uh that you just approved, and our share of the city share is 22,000 of that, county 21 and Northport 7.

The reason for the increase is when that amount of 30,000 was set.

We only had the original shelter since then we had a 5200 square feet of an addition, and that is now at an age where it needs maintenance.

This year we ran out in June or July and had no money left for maintenance, and our outdoor freezer is waiting to be replaced.

Uh, and that's a very important feature.

That freezer, and we hauled it away as of October 1, and we're in the process of replacing it now.

Um $30,000 is just enough to do some very routine stuff.

What we want to do is with that $80,000 is get into some actual meaningful maintenance that we can improve the shelter, do things like reseal, repaint, um, and that's gonna help with the odor, and all three governments are gonna approve this.

We ask for approval.

80 is the increase.

The city's share of that is 44 percent or 22,000.

And the counties is uh 21,000 in the northport seven.

How do we get to 80?

That's all those amounts added together.
