Discussion included the building's status: an RFP to sell the property had been issued months earlier, but a council member (Mr. Eatman) was not satisfied with respondents and wanted to explore options. No current plan for the building was confirmed. Funding from facility renewal.
- Fire Medical Reporting Software Contract with First Due – Authorized a contract with First Due to replace multiple existing systems (EMS reporting, inventory/checkoff, pre-planning, and notification software). The annual cost increases by approximately $2,500, but consolidating meets new IT security standards found in an audit. A one-time $13,000 setup fee is covered internally from existing line items. So this item is for the police department specifically. This is going to add various access control additions to the entire site. It will repeat the mechanical building and garage building on the property as well as replace multiple doors at the mechanical building as well. Where's it come out of, Tim? Is this out of facilities? Well, this is specifically the security enhancements. And there's money there. Yes, sir. There is. Okay. Do they go in more electronic or still so some of this is upgrades to existing, but most of this are additional doors that do not have access control on the present plane? Make a motion. Second. All in favor. Aye. This item for free machine metal is at the old Benjamin Barn branch YMCA. This is to replace the section of shingle roof that is on the east side of the building facing the uh library building. And it is funded by facility removal. So what's the status of that building? Is that ours? Is it our building, yes, sir? Um the reason we're asking for this. This this roof is got a whole lot of the room. Weren't we dealing with a route? Yes, sir. Like six years ago when we decided, weren't we putting a roof on it then? We have to do that. We put the roof on the library building about three years ago. Um I know I presented that project about fall of 2023. So that building does have an entirely new route. Um that's my knowledge, we haven't done any roofing repairs, at least any substantial ones to the primary building. Is there a plan for what we're doing on that building? I couldn't answer that. I think so. Mayor Joe's working on something about we're talking about the old barn. Yeah, no. Um, we of course we went through an RSP process about three to four months ago. Yeah. Um I don't think Councillor Eaman was was satisfied with the respondents that were there. Um he wanted to take a step back and see what was available and explore some possibilities. But at this time, I don't know of any options. Now, Mr. Eatman may have some, but I'm not aware of any options. The RFP was to sell that, right?
