The Weatherford Planning & Zoning Commission met in regular session on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:04 p.m. at Weatherford City Hall. Vice Chair John Hinton called the meeting to order, announced a quorum, and reminded applicants that all cases considered by the commission will also be considered by the Weatherford City Council. The commission unanimously approved all action items on the agenda.

Commission. Today is Wednesday, April the 9th, 2025. I'm Vice Chair John Hinton, and I call this meeting to order at 2 30 p.m. and announce that a quorum is present. Commissioners are joined today by Director of Development and Neighborhood Services Caleb Kentner and City Secretary Andrea McDonald. Before we begin working through today's agenda, I would like to remind all applicants and interested parties that cases considered by this commission today will also be considered by the city council. Item two on the agenda. Item two is approval of the minutes. Consider approval of the minutes of the planning and zoning commission meeting held March 12th, 2025. I'll make a motion to approve. Item 3A, hold a public hearing and consider a request by Thomas Tettleton concerning a conditional use permit for an auto sales service as a primary use on an approximate one acre tract generally located at 2040 Fort Worth Highway, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. CUP 25-0002. Caitlin second planner. Yes, thank you. This is a conditional use permit permit for the Macon Tracks golf cart sales. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit on a one-acre track. The proposed use is an auto sales slash service, specifically golf cart sales. The current zoning is C1 general general commercial and the general plan is community commercial. This is the conceptual site plan, which includes a golf cart sales office and a golf cart storage and displays area. Staff recommends approval of the conditional use permit request subject to the following three conditions. And I'm here if you have any questions. Any questions? Any questions, comments, concerns? Mr. Chair, just to as a point of clarification on um on this request. This is for um uh the the display and sale of new golf cart sales. So just to clarify that, and that may need to be clarified in item two, which says display and sale of equipment is limited to golf cart sales.
