- Chapter 10 (Renewable Energy): Added prohibition of solar and wind on prominent ridge lines; agreed to develop criteria for ridge line definition.
- Chapter 12 (Transportation): Added “Safe Streets for All” and dark‑sky compliant lighting standards (future-focused, not retroactive).
- Scenic highway designation on Golden Ridge Road: Decided to strike this from the plan.
- Highway garage action items: Removed completed generator and insulation upgrades from the list.
- DeForest raised concerns about ambiguous language in the land use section (preference to approaches…) – agreed to remove the sentence and optionally add a purpose-of-zoning statement.
- Subdivision regulations: Added language to “reflect the types of subdivisions routinely seen in town” to the action item.
- Maps: Reviewed the ridge line, future land use, and other maps. Agreed to add a blurb explaining ridge line methodology. Maps will be ledger-sized.

- Chapter 12 (Action Items Summary): To be organized by responsible party and placed as an appendix.
- Website document versioning: Agreed to update documents with date-stamped filenames and keep packets current.

Yeah, that's not fair. Yeah, I think the ways we highlight. So I I also agree with you that let's strike the strategic plan, and then if we want to add a tack on at the end of the meeting, so do you have an option? Well, I would just in that case I wouldn't strike it, I would just leave it at the end at the end like it is, and we either do it or we don't when we get there. Agreed. Um Bruce, how do you need for the overview for us? Two minutes. Twelve minutes? Oh it is on the specific time. Okay, yeah, that was going to give us feeling the essentially the same thing that I said along with Ryan. Uh our previous appearance. How we did everything protocol we went through. The only difference is instead of the sites that we the commission came up with. I did we did it with the ones that are in the current conflict. Oh, okay. Okay, cool. We'll we'll jump into that right when we get there then. Uh so 15 minutes on that sound good to everybody. I think we would leave it to 10. And I think Bruce says he can do it in two, and I'll be through. Awesome. All right. Um any other adjustments to the agenda for agenda review. Hearing none, moving on to comments from citizens regarding items not on the agenda. Any part? Rika online. Um I always forget which button to push to do that electronically. Um I was wondering is there anything in our bylaws that enables us to have some say in terms of what kinds of businesses come into weather's field? Um, and I what I'm thinking of primarily is like chain stores, you know, whether it's the dollar store or uh what's the coffee place, Starbucks, or you know, they you know they don't really contribute anything economically to the tab besides the property taxes, but you know, they're not probably going to be the property owners. Um the town plan, it seems my understanding is that that's sort of developing you know what do we want this town to look like in the future? And we all know that this town put had a major amputation when the interstate went in and exit eight just you know amputated a whole just the beautiful land of a Scudley village, you know, the the green, I think it was a gazebo, there was a tea house, it was uh you know, pedestrian friendly and and you know a little bit more quaint vermont than uh uh other sections of town, other sections of other towns. Um do we have any control in there? Can we is that something that already exists in our bylaws or zoning laws? Is it something that should be included in the in the you know the long range plan? Um not something that needs to be hashed out tonight necessarily, but you know, just I just wanted to plug it out there as huh. Is this something we could should be thinking about? Well, first of all, I love having comments, people comments coming on this section right here, not on the agenda. So thank you for voicing those. Brian, I believe you so I I'd like to respond to you that because uh I think if we should just delay this discussion because we're gonna review the individual sections of the town plan and under economic development tonight. If you read through that section, they do talk about encouraging business and some other things, and I have some thoughts on that too, that I think I'd like to delay that until we get to that section. Lovely. Good. They obviously didn't read that part. Yeah, just to move things along. Yeah, absolutely. Um other comments from citizens regarding items not on the agenda. Moving on to Mr. Chairman, I have one comment about the agenda in general. Speaking back to the last meeting we all attended, where we had the scenic resources on the agenda, and then I think Mr. Murray uh spent a lot of time uh talking about things.
