The select board unanimously approved the purchase purchase of a rescue truck.

No, to exceed 150,000.

I think we've seen that.

I mean, it's kind of 131 through 25.

So the authorization came in December.

And then we purchased the truck.

Since you asked me to come up here before we'll come up to the LMS system.

Um, so is it not true that all payments that are made from the town to all kinds of vendors and employees and stipend payments, etc.

Is it not true that they are always part of your select board packet that the select board approves every two weeks or or whenever you have a regular schedule meeting?

So when the select board gives authorization to make a purchase, they approve that warrant item then.

So to put it on the warrant now, in order to put something on the warrant, what that does is after the warrant is approved, every single item on that has a check.

That check has already been cut, it's already been cashed, the equipment's already been purchased.

So there'd be no, it would do nothing to put it on the warrant.

It's already been approved.

So if the select board approved the purchase up to 150,000 for the replacement truck, if I hadn't come to a meeting and asked how much the truck was purchased for, the select board or the public wouldn't have any idea and knowing that because it wasn't ever made public as part of the warrant, where again all of the expenses to the town are paid.

So I did give an update and explain how much we spent.

So you know, there is a record of that.

Um it's in our accounting system.

And the town knows because the select board voted during a warrant meeting up to 150,000.

We just so happen to negotiate the price down, you know, several 20,000 dollars.

So when if the article passes to purchase uh brush truck up to 135,000, if my member serves me right.

So if the voters approve 75,000 during the next vote, and it comes to discussion, and the select board approves to go ahead and make the purchase spending no more than 135,000.

No payment will ever come back in those pay and that paperwork before the select board and before the public because it's going to be a done deal.

So it will never be seen again.
