The subject property is located on the south side of Orange Street between South 4th Street and South Fifth Avenue and is a contributing resource in the historic district residential.

Provisions to all facades of the building and the site are subject to design review in this district.

The Gore Stone House built circa 1875 is a two-story Italianate style side passage dwelling with a hipped roof.

The dwelling features a wide freeze band with oblong vents and decorative brackets.
