All right. Madam Mayor, I move that the council will meet in the executive session to discuss and evaluate the qualifications of applicants for public employment. So we have a motion by Deputy Mayor Brown and a second by Councilwoman DCO for the council meeting and executive session to discuss and evaluate qualifications of applicants for public employment. Good afternoon and welcome. I'm going to reconvene the Yakima City Council special meeting for June the seventeenth, twenty twenty-four. Can we have roll call, please? Berg. Here. Brown. Here. Byers. Present. DCO. Here. Glenn. Here. Herrera. Here. Roy. Here. Thank you. Now we have public participation, which we will allow up to 15 minutes. Everyone who wishes to participate make the letter slip in the lobby and bring it to the clerk. And come to the podium, please give us your name in the city in which you live. I don't see anybody coming forward. Mr. Beelers anybody in Zoom who who wants to speak to the council. No, Mayor Byers, there's not. Thank you. Then we will close public participation. All right. And I will accept motions now. All right. Let's do this thing. All right. Uh I move that the following applicant, candidate number nine, uh, be moved to the finalists as one of the finalists for the job of city manager, and should be invited to Yakima for final interviews. I will second that motion. So we have a motion from uh Deputy Mayor Brown, a second from Councilman Um Glenn to advance candidate nine to uh further interview with the council.
