Today is Wednesday, May the 27th, 2026. And we are about to go into a special city council uh closed session. And we will start with a roll call, Madam Clerk Laura Weisiger. Would you please call the roll? Council members bowler? Yeah. Jensen. Mayor Ezie Ashcraft. I'm here. Three present. And hopefully, uh Vice Mayor Prior's on our way, and I'm assuming Councilmember Daysog is too. So hopefully, have we texted him? Perhaps someone called. All right. And is there any public comment on closed session items only? There is none. All right. We will close public comment and we will go on to we're about to adjourn into closed session to consider um one item. Madam Clerk, could you introduce that item, please? Yeah, three A is conference with legal counsel existing litigation pursuant to government code section five four nine five six nine A. The case name is City of Alameda versus Greenway Golf Associates Inc. Court uh is Alameda County Superior Court case number is two two C V zero one one nine six four. All right, thank you. And so I would ask that everyone involved in this matter um come on back to closed session. Thank you. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. All right, um, hello again, everyone. Um this is still the um City of Alameda City Council meeting. We have been in a special closed session, which we have just completed. And I would like to call on our city clerk, Laura Weisinger, to please announce any action taken in closed session. Um so the council provided direction to the city attorney by two votes. The first vote was three ayes, um, with uh one absent, I mean one no and one abstain. So it was uh council members, uh uh Bowler and Prior and Mayor Zashcraft who were ayes. The no was Councilmember Jensen and the abstain was Councilmember Desag, and then actually that was Vice Mayor Prior. Oh yes, thank you. And then um the uh second vote.
