See you on board. And I just tell everybody to call me Jean. I grew up over in Skimmore. That's just before you go across the Bay Bridge. My church is not too far. I belong to Asbury Broadnay. Over in Skimmore, they had about three, three, four plantations, because there was a plantation down at the bridge, not too far from the bridge. Yeah. But at times you can go back in the day and go fishing and catching mushroats. My grandfather used to go and lug in road all the way back there. It was like a near the water. And he will used to go down there, and he used to catch mush rats. And back in the day, when you catch mush rats, you catch it for the skin. And you make plenty of money like that. And the meat, you can just give it to anybody because the mushrats was really good eating. I'm from the country. And when, you know, we didn't have televis telephones and stuff like that. You when you do wrong in school, it got home before you did. We never knew who called, how they got the information, but they was there and they got after you. They showed love and understanding. And that's how we was brought up. Knowing about love and understanding. Yeah, because in the country churches, a lot of them. We were sl our ancestors were slaves. So we are related to some of them. So, you know, we got to know we could the those churches are still in the community, and sometimes we have to use those churches to get some things that we want to know about. See, my mother and um her sisters and brothers, they got baptized at St. Margaret's because of my grandfather and stuff. So, you know, they they are part of it. So, you know, St. Margaret's is a part of all of us. And right now they are doing things to help the community and everything else, you know. They didn't they don't like the idea that we were slaves and everything else.
