Options considered: closing the center, providing transportation to the Bay Minette SAIL Center, and delivering frozen meals to homebound seniors. The Commission directed Ms. Childress to contact the Area Agency on Aging about frozen meals and to develop a concrete plan for the next meeting.
Executive Session
- The Commission voted unanimously (4-0) to adjourn into executive session at 9:02 AM to discuss pending litigation and imminent controversies with the County Attorney. The work session was not reconvened; the regular meeting commenced at 10:00 AM.

We want to call this work session of the April 2nd, 2024 volunteering commission to order. I have um been requested I do the invocation. So I will go ahead and lead us in the invocation and then Commissioner McKenzie will follow us. He will lead us in the pledge. If you will bow your heads with me, please. Oh dear heavenly gracious father, we just thank you for this day. Lord, we just thank you for all the blessings you bestow upon us. Lord, we just ask you to be with us as we conduct the business of Baldwin County Commission. Lord, help us give us the strength, wisdom, guidance, encourage that we need to make the best and right decisions for the people of Ballin County. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen. I've planned to the United States of America. And we stand one nation. I with liberty and okay. So first item on our work session agenda is to review items and set the consent agenda. So we'll start out with the administration items, CA one through CA3. Are there any questions? Hearing none. Do I hear consent? I'm good with that. You want to talk about BA3 or we good? No. Okay. All right. Then the administration items will be on consent, CA1 through CA3. Next, we have archives and history. We have a resolution to appropriate historic parks funds to Blakely. Do I hear consent? I'm good. I'm good. Everybody's good on that. Okay. That'll go on the consent agenda. Next, we have our budget and purchasing items. We have quite a few of those. Um, we have 11, and there is some red lettering on CE7. There is a replacement attachment. Um it's been revised by our county attorney's office per FEMA guidelines. So keeping us in order with that. Is there any particular questions about any of these items, or do I hear consent? I have a question with CEM1. All right, which uh the change order to add 12,100. Uh the original order, I guess it was back done back in February, Wanda. Is that something that we don't look at? The salt resistant coding at the beginning, or is that some sorry the mic? Or is that just something we missed or something? We missed it. Okay. All right. Okay.
