Everybody got so quiet. Good evening all. I will call this Bloomington City Council meeting to order. It is Monday, October 27th, 2025. Thank you for joining us here in the council chambers and joining us online. We will begin our meeting as we always do. If you are able, please stand, remove any head coverings, and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God. Indivisible. Once again, thanks for joining us tonight. Council, welcome. Thanks for being here. We're at full strength again, up to seven once again, so glad to see everybody here. First order of business tonight is our agenda. And uh we've got our agenda, and I'm gonna have one item that I'll talk about a walk on item that we're gonna do is item 4.2. But uh first of all, under introductory items, we have a handful of things. We've got item two point one, which is an introduction of new employees. Item 2.2 and 2.3 are proclamations. 2.2 is a proclamation for Veterans Day, and 2.3 is for Native American Heritage Month. And then 2.4, we will be celebrating some of our awards that our communications team has received once again because of their outstanding work that they do. Our consent business contains 13 items, and Councilmember D'Alessandro has consent this evening. Item four, once we get to item four, our hearings resolutions and ordinances. Item 4.1 is a uh public hearing regarding liquor licenses. And then uh what I would like to do, Council, is add an agenda item, item 4.2, that would be a resolution making alterations to the approved budget and authorizing the use of funds for nutrition assistance and food shelves. And we'll talk more in depth as we get to that on item 4.2, but we have a resolution. Uh and uh Mr. Walker will lead us through all this, and we'll uh you'll understand a bit better once we get to it. Item five, under organizational business, we have three items. We have uh an update on the Hennepin County Nicolette Avenue Street Reconstruction Project. We have a review on item 5.2, a review of the American Boulevard transit study. And item 5.3, we're gonna continue our budget discussions. Tonight we're gonna be talking about public safety and our legal department. We'll wrap up with the college council policy and issue update and adjourn. So yeah, I would like to, unless there are additional changes or corrections or anything, I would like to move approval of our agenda as stated, which includes adding that walk-on item item 4.2. Second. Motion and a second by Councilmember Woman to accept tonight's agenda as stated. No further council discussion on this. All those in favor, please signify by saying aye. Opposed. Motion carries seven zero, and we have an agenda. And first on that agenda is item two point one, the introduction of new employees. We have folks here, both uh new employees from public health and from our finance department. Why don't we start with public health if we could? There we are. Yep, if you're you're a new employer, you gotta come up to you. Good evening and welcome. Good evening. Yeah, thank you, Mayor.
