Boca Raton City Council Regular Meeting – August 25, 2026
Opening & Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 6:01 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Present were:
- Mayor Andy Thomson

Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance – Mayor Thomson delivered the invocation and the Pledge was recited.

Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to the Boca Raton City Council. We're here for our regular meeting. The date is Tuesday, August twenty fifth, two thousand twenty six. The time is six oh one PM. The first order of business is the invocation, which I will deliver. Heavenly Father, we're so thankful for the many, many blessings that you've given to us, included among them, though they are many, are the beautiful city of Oak Raton, the chance that we have up here to help shape its future. And we pray also for kindness and love for everyone. Amen. Councilmember Drucker. Councilmember Pearlman. Councilmember Sippel. Very good. Mr. Manager, do we have any amendments to our agenda tonight? Yes, Mr. Mayor. Very good. So I think we can entertain a motion to postpone, I believe you said it was item eleven A. Ten A. Ten A, I beg your pardon to postpone item ten A. Uh, I remember if you were speaking about the late September meeting, that might be a busy one for us. So we're I think the the applicant is here. Are they okay if we roll it into October? Is that acceptable? So what are the dates of that meeting? Is that October? Anyone know? That'll be October 13th, I believe. So uh members, are we willing to put Mr. Rucker, do you have something? Yeah, October 13th is also a combined meeting. Just keep note of that. So aka a marathon. Congratulations.
