The Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority met on September 1, 2026, following the City Council and Municipal Authority meetings. Legends Global has been selected as the operator. Staff hiring has begun, and a temporary CEO is anticipated later this year. The City Manager plans to arrange a tour for council members in October. He noted that the technology and wind walls being installed will be a "game changer" and that the project is ahead of a comparable venue in McKinney, Texas, which is eight to nine months behind schedule.

City manager. I do, Madam Chair. I just wanted to mention just a quick update regarding the amphitheater, the uh region bank epithet. Is the council members have I've shared this with you, and that is we are now in the process to where we are transitioning from construction to operations. Uh venue team has selected Legends Global as to be the operator for the venue. We've had multiple meetings, albeit on on teams or in person, to begin the process of actually making that trend transition. Uh they are started the hiring of the staff for the facility. And I but the I call it the the Stevens boys, actually, also known as Norm and Travis. They're the ones that are actually spearheading the um and ensuring that all the action steps. There's gonna be many, many more meetings that are going to be happening, but it's great to see that we're actually making that transition.
