The City Planning Commission is a nine-member commission whose function is to make recommendations to the city council regarding requests for land use classification changes, subdivision plats, conditional use permits, zoning ordinance amendments, and other matters.

The commission makes the recommendation based upon the adopted comprehensive plan for the physical development of the city of Brookings and the surrounding area.

This is the area to be um platted, preliminary platted on the northwest corner of 20th and 22nd.

Uh it would just be uh one lot, one block, uh so lot one and block one of uh Morriart Edgebrook second edition.

Um the plat uh the lot would include frontage along 20th Street South and uh 22nd Avenue.

The plat would include some additional right-of-way acquisition at the corner of 20th and 22nd for some needed right-of-way improvements uh with that new intersection setup.

Um engineering has reviewed uh the preliminary drainage plan meets our standards.

Um the lot will likely be final platted as development comes in and access points and no access easements would be discussed at the time of final platting once the uh site plan is a little more finalized for development.
