This is in the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 14 bypass and 34th Avenue.

The current use is agriculture, and it's um roughly uh 55 acres in size.

Uh staff recommends approval of the annexation petition.

Um planning commission's action tonight would be to approve or deny, and any action would be a recommendation made to the city council.

When it comes to the annexations, it is uh regulated by South Dakota codified law nine uh dash four, which takes up the governing body of a municipality upon receipt of a written petition describing the boundaries of any territory contiguous to that municipality sought to be annexed to that municipality may by resolution include such territory or any part thereof within such municipality if the petition is signed by not less than three-fourths of the registered voters and by the owners of not less than three-fourths of the property sought to be annexed into the municipality.
