So just as we start now, I just want to make two announcements.

Um the current Broad Housing Council logo that has been used will no longer be used beginning effectively twenty twenty-five, as per direction that's been given by the Office of Public Communication.

Um sometimes we will work with them to see what other what other sort of imagery can be authorized, approved to use to represent Broadward Housing Council, or if we would just use the um the county logo, and I will keep you updated.

Secondly, um for the future meetings of the Broad Housing Council, the councilship, um sorry, the council leadership, chair, vice chair, and look at officials will be sitting on the far side in the future.

So where you see Mr.

Harrington, Miss Taylor, and everyone else.

So you've that role will be moved, will shifted over there as as per direction of the Office of Public Communications.

So at this point in time, we can't approve, disprove, disapprove, or otherwise.

Um is that at discretion, or is that a requirement?

And I know there are some people online who are watching and interested to hear, of course, as I as again as pointed out, we can't discuss anything that needs approval or moving forward.

At this time then, I think that it might be appropriate.

I'm going to jump around a little bit.

I'll give you my chair's report, which is brief.

Um the referendum was successful.

It was a resounding success, as was our work shop.

Our two moderators, um, Ms.

Taylor and uh Mr.

Chris Bun in his absence.

They were fantastic.

I think everyone will agree the highlight of the day was a very entertaining um Senator Pizzo, who was um not only knowledgeable, but certainly, as I said, very entertaining and even funny.

Um where will the state go with this?

Nobody really knows where will this county go with this.

I think that that was made fairly obvious.

And for those of you on the line, if you care to go to the Broadhousing Council website, there's a video of the uh send a piece of speech along with the rest of the workshop that we can refer you to.

You'll find it very entertaining.

Um I think that's it for my report.

I was going hoping that perhaps Mr.

Stone that maybe you could share with us the municipal dashboard strategy.

Um highly anticipated report.

Sure.

So when the board uh accepted the 10-year affordable housing master plan back in March that Dr.

Murray put together, one of the major recommendations was to initiate a countywide municipal uh scorecard.

And it really isn't just the 31 cities, it's the county and the 31 cities, with the intent of uh kind of creating a side-by-side uh assessment of annual results regarding affordable housing funding and the cohorts and the initiatives that all of the cities were involved in.

So if you remember from the study, uh he had a two spreadsheets, one related to owner homeownership uh and and the deficiency in each city uh by ownership, and then one for rental.

So uh what the we've been playing around with the templates and and uh Joe's office and Sue have been working with us, and by the way, our the intent is to eventually this next year will be posted on the housing council website as a resource for everybody and an indicator of how everyone's doing.

So if you can imagine, say on on the rentals, we know we have about 75,000 unit deficiency in rentals, so it'll be down the left column, and then across the top will be the county and all of the cities, and then we'll fill in uh by funding and by units uh provided and by cohort.

So, for example, uh when the board approves uh gap financing for a 100 unit project, that'll go into the county's uh portion, and we'll have those units and we'll have the amount.

They'd say the gap was six million dollars.

Down to individual home homes, so we know that countywide we uh in the 15 entitlement cities, we do the all the smaller cities.

So all 31 cities are getting lot grant funding and are doing uh home ownership or home repair.

So you can imagine we'll we'll pick on Ajibola, uh, because we know they've just built three new houses uh for West Park, it would say the five.

Yeah, the the value of the those homes, uh the cohort, 80 below 120, whatever it is, uh, and that would we so we would work that countywide.
