Uh I received uh phone call from a constituent on uh Thursday.

Uh and uh this take just a quick second here.

Uh there have been ongoing water problems with the Bay Bridge water park.

Uh they've subsequently hooked into town water.

Uh, but there have been a series of problems with that.

There was a public forum for community members held at Brunswick High School, uh, where Legacy came out and spoke to them obstinatibly about how they were gonna be billed for their new water, but as you might imagine, if you've got 50 people uh gathered who aren't getting their water, there are probably a lot more questions about that than there was how they were gonna be built for it.

Uh what I can say is since that meeting, um on January 24th, there was somebody on their forum that they have for the park who noted their water out.

There was another home on January 25th, another one with a pipe burst, uh a whole street on Franklin Street where there are probably dozen houses that were out.

Um I got a call on the uh I guess that was the twenty-ninth or the thirtieth actually, from somebody who was noting that their neighbors' water had been out for five or six days.

Uh, and the entire one side of the street was out.

Um essentially a geyser burst up in this woman's driveway, uh, because the infrastructure, the piping there is is problematic.

And so again, I just wanted to note so that we not forget, since this is a moratorium item that we have going on that again, receive calls, and I'm seeing a lot of correspondence in and amongst themselves of people who are having real difficulties in that park with basic water to their houses.

Um damage to their houses related to water meters that were installed by a third-party vendor that the landlord used, uh, which has caused pipe freezing in a lot of the uh trailer homes.
