And Council Member Alfonso is absent. Say thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for us. We ask, oh God, that your hand will continue to be with this council, with our mayor, and with all contributing departments. We also ask God that you will continue to watch over each and every one of them, guide them with your wisdom and your knowledge, and keep them to be able to expand and grow our communities. I have a proclamation for uh Kawana's Kids Days. If I have everybody from Kawana's down by the microphone, please. Whereas the children, whereas the children of our community are our future and of the utmost importance, and whereas healthy habits and regular physical activity are essential to maintaining children's physical, mental, and academic health, and whereas research shows that communities with programs directed towards healthy habits and safe places to be physically active can have positive effects on children's mental health and emotional well-being. And whereas our community is committed to promoting activities directed at children and creating uh excuse me and creating a supportive environment for physical activity and healthy habits. And whereas the city of Bullhead City and the Bullhead City Kawanas Club are committed to assisting with the growth, development, education, safety, and security of all children in this community. And whereas the six the free six annual Kawanas Kids Expo will take place on Saturday, March 23rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kenfoger Park. Now, therefore, I Steve Diamico, mayor of City of Bullhead City, do hereby complain Sunday Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 as Kawana's Kids Expos Day. Thank you, Dan. Thanks, Dave. Just a couple. I just want to say this is the sixth year that we've done this, and it's 100% free. If you want a hot dog, it's a buck. You want a snow cone, it's a buck. You want cotton candy, it's a buck. Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. We picked up a pallet of water yesterday that is donated. We'll keep it on ice because I think Saturday is going to be like today. It could be just gorgeous. And uh we have churches there, youth groups, youth sports, schools, public and charter. Um 38 from the fire department, metro, bullhead PD, uh San Martinino County, both of our hospitals, Warm Sea and Valley View will be there. Valley views bringing some PD attricians if you want to talk to a child doctor. Youth activities, library in Bullhead, Laughlin. Uh there are 87 booths and no one to charge you a dime. It's all about information for the parents. We have a splash pads always free, of course. And then we're gonna bring in a bounce house and a water slide, and I think Mr. Cotter is gonna make an announcement here in a few minutes about something really big that's gonna happen at the before the expo. So come out and join us. I just like to say thank you to Larry Toon Forest. He works tirelessly on this project, and it's a wonderful, wonderful thing for our community.
