Good evening. This is Tuesday, December seventeenth, twenty twenty-four, is five thirty PM, our regular scheduled council meeting. All council members are present. All right, we're gonna start this evening with an invitation from Captain John Burks from the Salvation Army. If you'd like to join us, please do. Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we want to thank you so much uh for today. We thank you for our leaders before us, uh leading our city so well. We appreciate uh your help in that as well. Lord, I ask that uh you open up our hearts, our minds and our souls to you as we uh move uh closer to the day we celebrate your son's birth, Jesus. Lord, I thank you for everyone who lives uh uh in this city, Bullhead City, and I pray for those uh most in need as well that they will find uh the necessary places to uh find food and clothes and uh uh money in order to help uh keep their lights on and and help uh also help them with their uh rent and utility assistance. We love you, we worship you, we honor you in Jesus' name. Amen. Please join me in the Pledge League. Four people or more, and let us know ahead of time so we can give you the five minutes. With that being said, who'd like to come up with staff council, mayor, my name's Jeremy Brunk. I'm with TWN. I'm here tonight to give uh another update on our project that we're building in Bullhead City. As you know, we've broken it up into two areas. We have the Medland one and Medland Two. I can tell you in Medland One, we're about seventy percent complete, and Medland two, we're about seventy-five percent complete. Um just to let you know, let people know that our restoration schedule, um, some of these roads are complete, so if you feel that they're not complete, please contact us so we can take care of it. So if you feel that they're not complete, please contact us so we can take care of it. Uh Riverfront uh from Lakeside to Taylor is complete, Stallman's complete, terrace is complete, tourney is complete, uh, roadrunners complete, Palo Verde, Cypress, Holly, Church, and Glenn and Brill. So if any of those roads you guys live on in the medland area between Hancock and Lakeside, if there's a problem, please contact us. Um excuse me, our holiday schedule. Uh, we'll be working till noon on uh things, excuse me, on Christmas Eve, and then we'll be off totally on Christmas, and we'll be back to work our normal schedule on the 26th. Um for the uh New Year's holiday, uh, we'll be uh work till noon on the 31st, and then we'll be off on the first, and we'll have a full day on the second. Uh first of all, I just want to thank everyone who has uh helped the Salvation Army by giving us uh their business card and putting money into their uh uh kettle as well. Uh appreciate that. Um this last week on or this is Saturday. We had uh both um Kawanis Clubs meeting uh at uh the Sam's Club, uh Bullhead City, as well as uh the Walmart and Bullhead City uh raised a really good amount of money. The total for that night was over $2,000 for all the kettles that were out. Um, and it was a big uh thank you to the Kowanis clubs that both uh did a really amazing job. Now, the morning club did win, and there's some you know, you know, a little uh talk about why they won and why they didn't win or why all that. Um so apparently there was one group that went to Walmart where the morning club was that was supposed to go to the Sam's Club. But either way, it was a win uh for this community, it was a win for the Salvation Army. I appreciate both clubs, did amazing job. Uh, thank you so much for that. Uh this uh tomorrow uh is the last Realtors Wednesday, and we have Killer Williams that's gonna be at the Sam's Club. I'm actually leaving as soon as I'm done here to go to Vegas because they just got uh a Sally um mascot, which is the red kettle mascot. They just got it in and they said that we were able to use it, but I had to go pick it up. So tonight I'm gonna go pick that up. So Sally will be at the Sam's Club uh periodically on and off, depending on how hot whoever's in it gets or maybe cold. I don't know, depending on the wind.
