Um microphone on. Okay. Hello, and welcome to our regular uh planning and zoning commission meeting. It's Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at 5 30 p.m. Roll call, please. All commissioners are present. Bart, would you like to start us off in the Pledge of Allegiance? I pledge allegiance to the fly of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands. One nation, under God, indivisible. As it looks, we have no presentations. Is there any presentations for any council members? Okay. Well, right now this is the call to public. We have now an open call to public for the citizens wishing to address the commission on issuing on issues uh within the jurisdiction jurisdiction of this commission. Your comments must be limited to three minutes or less, unless you are speaking on behalf of a group of citizens and you have to be present. And then at the time you'll have five minutes. A maximum of 15 minutes will be allowed allocated for the call to public. If you wish to address the item already on tonight's agenda, you should wait until the item is announced. At the conclusion of the open to call to public, individual members of the commission may respond to criticism made by those who have dressed the commission. May also ask staff to review a matter or may ask a matter to be put on a future agenda. However, members of the commission cannot discuss or take legal action on matters not already on the agenda. Any call to public? Seeing none, we're gonna close the call to public. Second. Six in favor of the motion. Motion carries. Okay. Now we are on hearing of items and actionable items. Uh the discussion and possible action to enter or to elect a member of the commission to serve as chairperson during the twenty-five the twenty twenty-five, twenty twenty-six physical year, in accordance with Article One, Section 102 of the curta um the current commission bylaws. I would like to throw in my hat for commission chair. I'll throw in my hat for commission chair also. Anyone else? I make a motion that we accept the two positions. I'm for both parties for the one position. There's only one person that could fill the position. I know, but to take the vote on the position. You tell us Garn. I I make that motion to appoint. For which of which commission member? Uh Gary, Genovisi. Okay. Then you, if there's a second, you take a vote on it. All right. If there's no second, then that motion fails. Then there'd be another motion. I think they're confused. I can't make a motion for myself, can I? Yes. Okay, I make a motion to appoint myself as chairman of the planning and zoning commission.
