All consent items were adopted unanimously by a vote of all councilors present.
Councilor Comments & Updates
- Councilor Cameron reported attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Science Zone for their “How People Make Things” and “Ocean Bound” exhibits. He noted significant renovations to the museum and highly recommended a visit.
- Councilor Cameron also acknowledged Stephen Schnell’s last day as executive director of the Science Zone after 11 years of service. Schnell is leaving to become executive director of the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock, Arkansas. Councilor Cameron praised his passion for educating children and his interactive, entertaining style.
Executive Session
- The council gave proper notice of an executive session to discuss personnel matters. A motion to adjourn into executive session, with the intention to reconvene solely for adjournment, was moved by the Vice Mayor and seconded by Councilor Pollock. The motion passed unanimously (greater than two-thirds majority), and the council adjourned into executive session.

And 2A3, a resolution rescinding and replacing resolution 25-159 and approving contingent upon voter approval as provided in Wyoming State Statute Section 15 9217B, an annual assessment of 16 mills against the assessed value of real property within the downtown development district, excluding real property used exclusively for residential purposes.
