The Driver's License Restoration Fund Board (the Board) met on July 21, 2025, to consider applications for financial assistance to restore driver's licenses and related barriers. He will be one week past the five-year mark since his violent felony conviction on July 24; he also has multiple orders for arrest. - Tiffany Curran (Chapel Hill pot – holdover): Continued to August 18 meeting. If no contact is made by then, her application will be denied. Motion by [unstated], second by Ty. Vote: 8-0.
Funding Update
- Sarah reported that the Chapel Hill fund has at least $20,000 and Orange County at least $6,000 (no Carborough applicants this cycle). An exact carryover amount is pending.
