Before we uh go to the vote, though, I just have a couple words that I would like to say about Mr.

Um, I served uh as a war two city councilman uh for 12 years, and Mr.

Cook is following and serving uh his 12 years as a war two city councilman.

I feel pretty big kinship with him for uh our shared service to uh our ward and our residents.

I asked a few people about Brian and the words they shared with me show how much he's respected.

Compassion, caring, kind, and thoughtful were just a few of those words that were shared with me.

His passion for his nonprofit career in the residents of war two showing his actions every day.

That responsiveness and passion was a big part of him receiving the most votes each time in his contested elections.

That and the fact that he knows more people than anyone else I know.

You can hear that during CFD parades when Brian's name is Hollard more than any other.

Brian's support of youth recreational opportunities has been evident through his 12 years on the governing body.

He understands how sporting facilities help kids understand teamwork, build confidence, develop lifelong friendships, and promote just so dang much fun.

Brian has been a huge supporter of improving the quality of life in our community.

I know Brian is so proud of his support of our efforts to support housing, the 17th Street Lighting Project, the trails on the Belbor Ranch, and our efforts to clean up the hitching post.

Brian is a gentle giant whose career helping people doesn't match his physical appearance.
