Michelle asked that we come here and give a quick update on what has transpired.

Um, I am John Sullivan from Larero Engineering's DPS.

Um, as a quick reminder, this landfill on Old Nond Road is uncapped, unclosed.

It is an underutilized piece of land here in the town.

Um, we see this as an opportunity for redevelopment.

We have a self-funded business model that'll bring in reuse soils to cap and close it.

These soils will be a lower permeability of what material that is already there and will be approved by the state under a material acceptability protocol that we have developed.

Um all of our revenue and operating costs will be audited and can be shared with Michelle.

Um, and there are no cost to the state or to the municipality.

Just want to talk a little bit about the timeline.

Um, going back to May of 2022, Lerrero won an RFP to cap and close this landfill.

We performed a landfill investigation in June of 2022, and the results came back favorable, and we decided to move forward.

We submitted a closure plan to the town and then to Deep in August of 2022.

Um in March of 23, Deep provided comments back to us.

We responded to those comments, resubmitted the closure plan.

And then from May of 23 to last July, uh it was pretty much radio silent, and us and the town was pushing deep for any kind of feedback on our plan.

Uh finally in July, we did receive more comments.
