This is a proposed uh proposed resolution approving extension of the term of the collective bargaining agreement negotiation between the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council, the sergeant unit.

Um, so just uh a couple highlights here.

Um we continue to um negotiate uh uh two percent uh raise starting uh back pay will be in January.

Um another two percent uh raise for the sergeants will be coming um in July and then a four percent raise in January 1 of 2027.

Um on top of that, there'll be a 2500 um one-time lump uh payment that will be paid um within 45 days here of approval by the board.

Um there was some additional changes that we had that were um around um the way that the sergeants can bid for their vacation as well as their work schedules.

We have been extending our current contract, so we still have local 700 teamsters, but I believe we finish with the trades um FOP for police, and this is FOP for surgeons, and we do have a new unit that is forming that we still need to negotiate a contract with.
