This meeting of the Cook County Transportation Committee was called to order at 18:15. A quorum was present with excused absences for Commissioners Gaynor, Moore, Sean Morrison, and Stamps, and an unexcused absence for Commissioner Britton. The committee approved the minutes from June 10, 2026 (Item 29-1954) and then voted on a bundled motion of seven items. No public speakers appeared; one registered speaker (George Blakemore) was not present. The meeting adjourned without further business.

Now we will do a bundle motion for the following items. Item 26-1393. This is a proposed contract amendment with Alfred uh Benish and company. Um this is gonna be for Bussey Road uh and Gulf Road on Central Road County Districts 9 and 15. Item 26-1397, a proposed improvement resolution, motor fuel fuel tax project with the create program. Um item 26-1398. This is a proposed improvement resolution also for motor fuel uh tax projects. Um this program and uh 75th Street Corridor Improvement Programs County with districts two, three, four, seven, and eleven. Item 26-1399 is a proposed agreement with Elk Grove uh Village of Illinois. The county will restrict um the extraction of uh portable uh water with its highway right of way at 1e Higgins Road at Arlington Heights Road. Um also item 26-1400 is a proposed intergovernmental agreement with the village of Skokie for construction. This is in the 13th district. Item 26-1545 is a proposed improvement resolution for motor fuel tax projects for pavement patching and resurfacing on 86th Street. This is in the 6th and 11th district. Item 26-1568 is a proposed supplemental improvement resolution, motor fuel tax uh reconstruction of existing pavement in Sanders Road, Milwaukee Avenue. Um, in uh the village of Glenview and Northbrook on District 14. Um this has been moved by Commissioner Trevor, second by Commissioner uh Aguilar. Are there any questions or any of the departments that wish to speak on any of these items? Seeing none, all those in favor signify by saying aye. All those opposed, nays.
