The Danbury Planning Commission held a brief special meeting on September 28, 2026 at 7:30 PM. The commission approved the minutes from the August 5 meeting and considered one referral item regarding a water main easement at the Trader Joe's Plaza. No public hearings or old business were on the agenda.
Good evening, everyone. Welcome to the September 23rd, 2026 uh special meeting of the Danbury Planning Commission. And uh we'll open with this afternoon's uh roll call. Uh Ms. Hofsetter? Here. Mr. Nazario? Yeah. Chair Finaldi is absent and uh Vice Chair Kyochio is here. Uh we have no alternates, but I guess we uh we have a quorum. So we're good to go. Um and we'll uh move this along pretty quickly and see how fast we can get it done. Um Commissioner members, you got the uh draft of the August 5th uh meeting, and unless there's any questions or comments, I'll entertain a motion to accept those minutes, Mr. Chairman. So move. Thank you, Helen. Second. Mr. Chairman, I'll second that. Thank you. Uh is there any discussion or questions? Uh hearing none, all in favor, please say aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Posed. The minutes of the August 5th meeting are accepted. Thank you. Um for the record, our next scheduled meeting is uh scheduled for October 7th. And I guess I don't have to read the Zoom meeting notice anymore, right? Okay, that'll help uh help our uh timing here. Um since there's nothing under public hearings, continuation of public hearings, old business for discussion and pop up uh possible action. We'll move right to referrals. And uh item one, it's an 824 referral, city council agenda item number six, conveyance and release of water main easement for 113 to 115 Mill Plain Road, C 14070. And I think Jen, you're gonna kind of take us through that. I am uh thank you. Uh for the record, Jennifer Eminger, deputy funding director. Uh so this is uh fairly straightforward. Um it's uh conveyance and release, uh water main easement. Uh this is at the uh what we call the Trader Joe's Plaza. Um they'd started this, the the water main was actually installed. They just didn't finish all the paperwork.
