Welcome to this meeting of the Mayor and Denver City Council. At this weekly session, city agencies brief the mayor and council members on various proposals and projects across the city. This meeting of the mayor and city council members begins now. Good morning, everyone. We are live. Thank you. Good morning, everybody. I do not know how to use this new room. So we are just getting we are just getting comfortable. Welcome to Mayor Council. Thank you all so much for joining us. We will start with introductions in totally different seats and order, and we will get to start with the distinguished councilwoman uh to my right who gets to be the first introduction. I'm just thinking sorry, Cashman. Sorry. Amanda Sawyer, District 5. Chantal Lewis, District 8. Um Sarah Ferdi, one of your council members at large. Flora Alvidres, Lucky District 7. Diana Romero Campbell, Southeast Denver, District 4. Daryl Watson, fine, District 9. Uh Paul Cashman, uh sadly not that distinguished today. South Denver District 6. I wonder how you might be able to do it. Uh great. Thank you all so much for being here. I know we have a shortened agenda this morning. Um, but we're excited to jump in to any announcements that members may have for uh other council members or for the listening public. For those of you that are listening from home, we are in a new location today because the par wide room where we often meet us under some renovations, and so this is our new spot for wealth. Any announcements? Um I'll do one. I don't have an announcement, but I just wanted to call out that um on your guys' it on everyone's agenda. Bill 1161. They increase it's increasing money for the West Denver Renaissance Collaborative. And they're doing accessory dwelling units in West Denver and Northwest Denver, and this is something that Council Council Torres and I have fought really hard for. So just excited to see that money is going into this fund. And the way it works is you get money from the city, and then you have to deed restrict your ADU to 80% AMI, and then it helps build build the eight accessory dwelling units. So for someone who's redist rezoned 96% of her district, this program is key to hopefully the success of um getting accessory dwelling units. Thank you so much, Council President.
