Well, good to see you all this morning.

We have um uh we'll go through announcements.

We have just one brief update for you on our update agenda, then we have uh an executive session on the calendar too, and so we'll probably have a shorter uh public session this morning, but love to jump in.

Are there announcements that any members have for colleagues or the viewing public at home?

I just wouldn't want to let the day go by without uh wishing a happy one hundredth birthday to uh our former president Jimmy Carter.

I had uh uh chance to uh take his picture a bunch of years ago when he did look shining at Sir and Cover, and uh he always been here on the picture I chucked and I treasure it because of this.

I was so nervous the picture is a little bit out of focus.

Then I ran into them again.

My son and I were on vacation, a little fishing village, Seward, Alaska.

And we just down at the docks one morning drinking coffee, and who pulls into the first slip, but Jimmy and Rosalind were coming in from the fishing village and got to say hello by a hundred years old today, so uh happy day, President Carter.

Um, sharing an announcement.

Um, the mayor, uh, Councilman Gonzalez Cocherez and myself in District 9 at Glenarmock Center, and I think Councilman Watson will be joining us, are hosting um one of I think two planned community forums um around great government and sort of the um the meris goals around that uh and anything else people want to talk about that relates to that topic.

Yes, for folks particularly have questions or feedback on the permitting process, and I want we're doing to approve that that'll be on the topic list as well tonight.

Other announcement, Councilman's.

Um I I'm excited that Friday morning will be breaking ground for the Colfax BRT project.

It has been something that I've heard about since before I was elected in 2019, and it's good to actually see the construction starting and underway.

Speaking of town halls, uh Thursday at 5 30.

Um I am hosting a uh town hall about the residential parking permit program.

And uh so I want to thank the folks uh uh from our Department of Transportation Infrastructure for uh for being there and attending and hearing some of the concerns.

It is um uh we do have the traffic engineer specifically for district 10, but we know this is an issue that uh uh that uh we either need to educate our residents or uh maybe change some policies, um, maybe both, uh, but I'm looking forward to that.

Um that conversation, 5 30.

Any announcements?

Madam President.

Um this week we have what's called our tribal convening.

So we have tribal representatives from all of the Indian tribes throughout the nation.

And it was a recommendation from last year's tribal convening that they get to know the administration and city council and develop a better relationship and work on issues together that affect indigenous people.

So I'm I'll be on Thursday with the director of CPD at Chief Hosa Lodge, and we'll be doing storytelling Friday morning.

We have an opportunity at Auraria campus.

Um so if anyone's interested, it's a three-day um, I think Wednesday night, we're welcoming them at Daniels Park with the Buffalo with the Buffalo ceremony.

I'm not able to do that pro tem Romero Campbell will be there.

I'll be Thursday morning, and council tourists will be at Ferrary on Friday.

So if anyone's interested in joining the tribal convening, it's a really important.

We do a land acknowledgement every Monday night.

And this is our way of actually following through with that land acknowledgement.
